Formålet med Workshopen er å diskutere organiseringen av NRL samt hvilke oppgaver og krav gjeldende og kommende  kontrollforordning stiller til laboratorier og næringsmiddelmyndigheter.  Videre skal workshopen være en arena for å utveksle erfaringer om hvordan NRL kan utføre oppgaver og oppfylle kravene på en effektiv måte. Siden antall laboratorier i Norden er redusert mens omfanget av NRL-oppgavene utvides, blir samarbeid stadig viktigere. Hvordan kan vi legge til rette for nordisk samarbeid og nettverksbygging innenfor ulike områder vedrørende NRL?

Info from a couple of NRL from each country – their experiences, pros and cons, Experience from NRL - How to fulfil requirements and perform tasks in an effective way? What are the future challenges in food analysis? Exchanging ideas and information. Is there a need for a Nordic network? Is there a need for cooperation for instance on PT schemes and method development? If needed, how can we facilitate cooperation? Is there a need for a “Golden Standard”?
