Sodium. Determination in Foodstuffs by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry after Microwave Digestion. (NMKL 180, 2005)


The method is applicable for biological material. The lowest validated level here was 1480 mg/kg dry weight. The method is not validated on oils. The concentrations of sodium in the test samples are determined by flame AAS after digestion with acid in microwave oven. The method is also available in Finnish.
