About
This course focuses on general microbiology techniques and analytical methods applied in food analysis. The program is based on a course arranged by NMKL in 2014 but includes the latest advancements in the field. The intended audience includes technical personnel in microbiology laboratories and individuals seeking to familiarize themselves with the field. The course may also be useful for those engaged in water and environmental analysis. Physical attendance is required. The spoken language will be Finnish and most of the educational material will be in English. The course will be held in the Kalevi meeting room at Ruokavirasto (Finnish Food Authority) in Helsinki, Finland. The same course is intended to be held in different Nordic and Baltic countries in respective national languages.
