New NordVal International Certificate Dec 2021

A new NordVal International Certificate issued to BIOTECON Diagnostics GmbH for 055 “foodproof® Salmonella Genus plus Enteritidis and Typhimurium Detection LyoKit” has been published.

The foodproof® Salmonella Genus plus Enteritidis and Typhimurium Detection LyoKit is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based assay that targets DNA specific to Salmonella spp. and two specific serotypes – Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium. The method is applicable for the detection of Salmonella spp., Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium in raw and ready to cook meat and poultry products and environmental samples.

The certificate was updated Jan 2022 to include LOD50 for different matrices and a correction about selectivity.
