Description
This NMKL procedure gives a general description of how to perform sensory analysis of drinking water. It describes the selection and training of assessors, preparations for the analyses, instru ctions for the assessors, how to treat and prepare samples, requirements for the testing area and equipment, and how to serve the samples. This procedure is meant to serve as a refere nce guide for water works and laboratories who want to use sensory analysis, or require mo re knowledge about these techniques. It is mainly written for analysis performed in laboratories. But it may also give examples for those who perform analyses in the field, e.g. at a tapping point in the main system.
