The method is applicable for the detection of Salmonella spp. and/or Salmonella Enteritidis + Typhimurium in raw meat, poultry and fishery products as well as ready-to-cook, ready-to-reheat and ready-to-eat meat, on swabs from raw food and in environmental and primary production samples.
