This issue includes, among several topics: the many changes in NMKL that brought us together with Baltic colleagues, a new edition of NMKL Proc. No. 17, reassessments of publications, and new NordVal certificates.
The General Secretariat of NMKL moved 1st of Nov 2020 from DTU in Denmark to the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Bergen, Norway. Senior scientist Eystein Oveland took over as Secretary General after Nina Skall Nielsen and head engineer Susanna Marie Petrova as secretary after Kirsten Becker Hansen.
From 1 November, NMKL’s general secretariat will move from the Technical University of Denmark to the Institute of Marine Research in Norway.
NMKL method No. 183 has been updated. The method describes sensory quality control of drinking water.
NMKL method No. 164, Escherichia coli 0157. Detection in food and animal feed, has been updated.
NMKL method No. 151 Presumptive Shigella spp. Detection in foods has been updated and reintroduced.
