Renewed: NordVal 051, 052 and 053 for BRT tests of anti-microbial agents
The NordVal certificates 051, 052 and 053 were issued to Analytik in Milch Produktions- und Vertriebs-GmbH for the Brilliant Black Reduction (BRT) tests for detection of anti-microbial agents (antibiotic residues) in raw bovine milk. The certificates are valid until 1 March 2027.

NordVal 053 BRT hi-sense anti-microbial agents (antibiotic residues) in raw bovine milk.
Withdrawn: Method 10 Gravimetric determination of fat in milk, cream and milk powder and milk powder products.
The NMKL method 10 “Gravimetric determination of fat in milk, cream and milk powder and milk powder products” has been withdrawn. It will be available in the Methods Repealed folder, but no longer supported. The reason for withdrawal was that the method needed revision, and NMKL found that other standardization organizations already have such updated method of high standard.
Withdrawn: Procedure 8. Measurement of uncertainty in quantitative microbiological examination of foods.
The NMKL Procedure 8 “Measurement of uncertainty in quantitative microbiological examination of foods” has been withdrawn. It will be available in the Procedures Repealed folder, but no longer supported. The reason for withdrawal was that the procedure needs revision, and NMKL found that other standardization organizations already have such procedures of high standard.
Renewed: NordVal 047 Compact Dry ETC for Enterococci
The NordVal certificate 047 Compact Dry ETC, issued to Shimadzu Diagnostics Corporation for determination of Enterococcus in a broad range of foods and in water products intended for human consumption, was renewed and valid until 15.02.2027.
Renewed: NordVal 018 Hygicult® TPC for total microbial count from surfaces
NordVal 018 certificate issued to Aidian for Hygicult® TPC was renewed until 1 Feb 2027. Hygicult® TPC is a hinged dip-slide culture method for the detection of total microbial count from surfaces.
Renewed: NordVal 058 Listeria Velox
The certificate issued to DNA Diagnostic for NordVal 058 Listeria Velox was renewed.
Listeria Velox is a fast, simple, and reliable method for detection of Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria species in 25 g samples – a total solution optimal for high-throughput applications and designed for horizontal testing of food matrices and environmental samples.
Valid until 10 February 2027.
Renewed: NordVal 038 BioRad iQ-Check Salmonella II kit
The iQ-Check Salmonella II kit is based on gene amplification and detection by real-time PCR and is applicable for the detection of Salmonella spp in a broad range of food, animal feed, production environmental samples and primary production samples.
The certificate was renewed, and the extension to pet food and animal feed for 375 g sample from 2022 was included.
